I have been witness to lovely purple flowers popping up in so many (otherwise desolately uncoloured) neighbourhood yards since yesterday...


It is their first visit here, and, except that they're so very pretty, I haven't a clue what they are. I'm just glad Mother Nature chose my 'hood over which to sprinkle her magic seeds!

No..not bluebells. I've looked them up and they aren't what's growing here. They seem to have 5 petals & aren't bell shaped like the bluebell photos I saw... still a mystery!
