With a soft harvest breeze
September dips its toes in,
And the sun leans into dusk.

this is a lovely, stand alone poem, simple words that develop one syllable at a time into a beautifully textured image...something that I've seen from you before, this part of your craft...

it gives me an appetite for the as yet unwritten story (or larger poem) that it seems to be introducing
