Angel Snow

.

angel snow blankets
this ol' prairie town
again

and the quiet that
cushions the clank-clanking
of carburetor updrafts
insulate this taut spirit,
softly.. gently.. deeply.

The idea of an "angel snow blanket" is so beautiful, cool and warm at the same time, a safe and comforting thought. Thank you.

I love the image (and feel) of angel snow blanketing (comforting) the city and those who live there...nice counterpoint to the mechanic clatter...a very soothing poem
