Hiding Words

Spotting a ... well, spot on a couch cushion this morning I decided to do the only smart thing. I flipped it over so no one would see it. But as I went to set the other side of the cushion down I spotted some words just sitting there along with three paper clips. Don't worry, I won't be writing about paper clips tonight. It amazes even me the words that hide out in every drawer and under & between the pieces of furniture in these yellow, grey, and white rooms of mine.

I just now counted 11 magnetic words, which I’ll now flip over and take 11 minutes to write a story or something with. The words are: people, to, be, with, go, world, for, truth, word (hmm), let, am.

When people speak of truth, they are speaking only of their own, for which one of us doesn’t live life based on our own reality? Does this mean that truth is fickle? I suspect it isn’t unless truth is fickle to you.
If you’re a politician, for example, you will speak words that likely seem necessary to you in that moment they’re uttered, but you do know ahead of time that what you proclaim to be true will change with your country’s needs (to be fair - mostly your own). So then, your truth is fickle I suppose.
And if you are to go into the world proclaiming to know the Truth, you are worse than any politician, à mon avis, for your truth, by its very nature, is the ficklest of all. Of that I am certain!

Interesting blog.I think for me when I hear a person always proclaiming truth in one subject or another,"A know it all" of sorts LOL...I begin to wonder.

Just visiting- I enjoy your very interesting use of words and venue for poetry. I have a neighboring blog "Desert Argonauta" and am reading several blogs each day...
