how i feel after seeing you

Warm fuzzy beat boxin' blues ...
How i feel after seeing you
CR, Mr Avery, is something like reading
Yann Martel's The Time I Heard the Private Donald J. Rankin String Concerto with One Discordant Violin, by the American Composer John Morton for the third time
Or -
Like it's 1978 and I'm sitting in the smoke-filled corner bar
Listening to Tom Waits wail out some bourbon blues
While the rest of the world has gone mad dancing to Abba tunes, donning glittered Silver stars on their cheeks and pretending they live in a cartoon reality.
And while I sit beside you, P --
Not wanting anymore goodbyes, NO MORE! I scream
But knowing I can't stop this one from happening
At least where we sit, at the crossroads (CR),  Avery
Plays us the fairest farewell songs we could ever
Not have asked for.
Thank you, boys. Fare well, P. I miss you both already.

As ever, your words speak in ways (so perfectly, so clearly, so truly) that define the lifeline from heart to mind as though observing a beautiful, difficult, sad dance ... what a wonderful voice you have.
